Card Mailings from the South Carolina Elections Commission:  Voters should be receiving cards sent out by the State Election Commission. It is possible for a voter to get two or three of these cards. If you do, please send them all back with the most up-to-date information. I hope this information helps, and if you have any questions feel free to reach out.

**Contact the Voter Registration Office if address has changed due to E911 readdressing.**

NOTE Candidate Filing:  At the time of filing for ANY Office be present and ready to file.
“Being present to file” also includes being ready to file. Being ready to file means that a person can complete the filing process without delay, without leaving the building, without waiting for documents to arrive, and without getting out of any line that may be present at the time. Completing the SICPP at the desk is permissible as long as the person can complete the form at the desk without delay. Writing any filing fee check at the desk is permissible as long as it can be done without delay. Updating a person’s voter registration at the desk prior to filing is permissible as long as it can be done without delay. In other words, a person must be present to file and be ready to complete the entire filing process without delay.
WARNING: If a person is not both present and ready to file prior to the filing deadline, the person’s filing will not be considered timely.
