Saluda County Spay and Neuter Program
Saluda County, in partnership with Pawmetto Lifeline, is excited to now provide a low-cost spay-neuter program for Saluda County residents. The County seeks to reduce the unwanted pet population that leads to animal control issues for the community.
Pawmetto Lifeline is a non-profit organization in the midlands that offers spay and neuter, vaccination, and adoption services. Saluda County’s participation will be part of a regional effort by the organization to raise awareness and provide solutions to animal overpopulation.
Pawmetto Lifeline will provide pickup on a designated day once a month and transport dogs and cats for spay and neuter services. Resident cost will be $20 per cat and $30 per dog. All animals will be required to have a rabies vaccination at an additional cost of $6, or the owner is to provide proof of vaccination before pickup. Your animal will be returned the next morning. Additional vaccinations and services can be provided at the owner’s expense.
