Information Technology Analyst: Saluda County is accepting applications for Information Technology Analyst duties include but are not limited to: assist the IT Director in establishing, planning, managing and maintaining the overall policies, goals and resources as they relate to Information Technology (IT) for Saluda County; analyze the needs of all County Departments and establishes priorities, feasibility studies, systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify County information processing systems while providing overall technology leadership for County government; performs related technical and administrative work as required; plan, organize and implement programs within major organizational policies, report program process to executive-level administration through reports and conferences. Must possess a valid S.C. driver's license. Requires Associates degree or education and training equivalent to two years of college education in the computer science or closely related field. Preferred requirements: working knowledge of Windows desktop and servers; working knowledge of Cisco equipment installation and configuration; and working knowledge of VMWare and virtual environments. Part-time Public Building Custodian - Saluda County is accepting applications for part time Public Building Custodian. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Under general supervision, performs custodial duties for the County in order to ensure the cleanliness of assigned buildings and facilities. Assigned buildings and facilities include but are not limited to: American Legion Building, County Annex Building, Courthouse, Library, Multi-Complex, Recreation Department Buildings, Registration/Election Building, Sheriff Department and Vehicle Maintenance Shop. Reports to Public Buildings Supervisor/designee. High school diploma and one month of experience in custodial/janitorial work, or any equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Must possess a valid S.C. driver's license. Current 10 year driving record must be submitted with application and resume. E-911 Emergency Dispatcher - Saluda County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for an E-911 Emergency Dispatcher. Requires a high school diploma or GED.  Must pass a drug screening and background check. Must be able to work 12 hour shifts.  Successful candidates will possess good communication and typing skills.  If selected, candidates will be required to complete a two week training course at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, as well as attain a 40 hour NCIC certification. Part-time Recycle Site Attendant: Saluda County is accepting applications for a Part-time Convenience Center Site Attendant.  Position includes working under regular supervision, monitors and screens all waste and recyclable materials delivered by residents to County Convenience Centers, ensures the public places materials in proper containers and monitors container volume, and maintains site appearance and safety. Performs related work as required. Reports to Solid Waste Coordinator.  Previous work related skills, training, and experience will be taken into consideration for all applicants. Detention Officer - The Saluda County Detention Center is now accepting applications for a Class 2 Detention Officer position.  Qualifications include a clear criminal background and/or driver's history and High School Diploma or GED.  Applicant must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.  Applications for this position can be picked up at the Saluda County Detention Center at 205 E. Church Street, Saluda, SC 29138. EOE
